The Revised ICSID Rules: A Further Step Towards Transparency and Efficiency

In the latest issue of the ASA Bulletin, our Senior Associate Marlena Harutyunyan provides an overview of the revised ICSID Rules and Regulations that entered into force on 1 July 2022.

ICSID has completed a six-year process of consultation with the ICSID members and the public to revise its rules and regulations that have remained unchanged since 2006. The amendments, applicable from 1 July 2022, are aimed at modernizing the rules based on the already established ICSID practice and providing tools for a more transparent, cost- and time-effective and environmental friendly procedure.
