Event review | Arbitrating CIS-Georgia-Ukraine-related disputes

Joint Chamber of Commerce member and Archipel counsel Laurence Ponty presided over a successful "Arbitrating CIS-Georgia-Ukraine-Related Disputes" event in Zurich.

The Joint Chamber of Commerce (JCC) held its Legal and Tax Chapter Lunch Seminar this week on the topic “Arbitrating CIS-Georgia-Ukraine-Related Disputes: Recent Developments, Future Prospects” at Lenz & Staehelin in Zurich.

This was the inaugural seminar for JCC Legal & Tax Chapter’s new Chairperson Laurence Ponty, Counsel, Archipel. The speakers were Fadri Lenggenhager, Attorney at Law, Lenz & Staehelin, Dr. Stephan Ibing, Head of Legal NPhS, Novartis and Ksenia Koroteeva, Geneva Center for International Dispute Settlement. A lively discussion on many aspects of arbitration, enforcement and risk-mitigation took place over a sandwich lunch.
