Panagiotis’ practice focuses on complex cross-border disputes, primarily related to agency and distribution contracts, SPAs, finance and crypto assets, sports, and construction. He has handled arbitral proceedings under various rules (ICC, ICSID, CAS, and the Swiss Rules), as well as proceedings before the WTO’s Appellate Body, Swiss courts, the Caribbean Court of Justice, and the disciplinary authorities of football, tennis and boxing governing bodies.

Panagiotis has advised stakeholders such as states, sport governing bodies, the World Bank, construction companies and athletes. He is a listed arbitrator (ICC Switzerland, Blockchain Lawyers Forum), tribunal secretary and active scholar, whose publications have been cited by the US Congressional Research Service and in major journals.

Recently, he:

Represented a European engineering company in a dispute governed by ICC Rules against a European company.

Represented a national sports federation and an athlete in proceedings before FIFA and the CAS regarding sports nationality.

Advised a state in efforts to recover assets in Switzerland.

Represented a African state as Third Participant before the WTO’s Appellate Body.

Advised a European investor in initiating ICSID proceedings against a European state.
